A.M. Meeting Minutes for 4/15/2021

Lions Present: Lions Ray, Al, Bill, Don, Steve, Herb, Kent, Joan and John.
Tail Twister: Lion TT Herb his normal competence.
Guests/Visitors: Alan Woertink, Almaden Lions

Motions made, seconded and Resolutions passed or defeated: None.

Lion Ray dispensed with the reading of the previous meeting since they were published.

A presentation was made by Lion Alan W. regarding his leadership experience in chairing a successful miniature golf fund raiser. Of significance, he chaired the event for six or seven years creating increasing revenue from approximately four thousand dollars to nineteen thousand dollars net. Lions Ray and others garnered specific how-to information during this presentation. Lion Ray along with Lion Eli will be making a presentation to the DeAnza Board at the next meeting. A discussion was held regarding the Charter Day at Via Campus West on 4/24/2021. Lion Steve must be contacted if you will attend Charter Day. Thirty-four attendees signed up for this in-person meeting.

Lion Ray will be contacting Holder’s regarding the possibility of in-person meetings beginning sometime in May. Suggested meeting time is 9:00 AM.

The DeAnza Lions have a deadline of May 15, 2021 to submit the 2021-2022 Club Officers and Directors. Currently the position of Secretary is open.
