Lions Present at Zoom Video Conference: Lion’s Ron, Steve, Al, Eli, Mort, Herb, Joan, Dagi, Leslye, Don, and Bill.
Dates to Remember – All Events Have Been Postponed or Cancelled Until Further Notice Due to the Coronavirus Guidelines.
– Zoom PM meeting June 3rd at 6:30 PM
– Budget Meeting June 27th at Lion Al’s or via Zoom at 1 PM
– Ride4Diabetes will be scheduled in 2021
– Annual Golf Tournament August 29, 2020
TailTwister – Lion Herb went around the screen and collected other donations. Today was Lion Eli and Mort’s 55th wedding anniversary. Lion Joan donated an- other dollar for the temperature relief. Everyone said they all were doing fine. Lion Leslye said she was aware of one death from the coronavirus.
Student Speaker Contest – Lion Ron asked Lion Don if he had talked with Lion Ray about the Student Speaker Contest. Lion Don replied that he had talked to Lion Ray about the Zone Contest scheduled for June 15, 2020. Lion Don said that the Odd Fellows Hall is currently closed duet the coronavirus guidelines. Lion Eli mentioned there was a Cupertino City Park behind the Cupertino Hotel that has a small open amphitheater with a sound system that might be available for the contest.
Perpetual Fund – Lion Al is trying to set up a Zoom meeting with his Charles Schwab Financial advisor and report back to the Board on what he finds out. Lion Eli asked the Lions to donate on their birthdate that amount of money to the fund.
Good of the Order – Lion Leslye asked if all the AM members received her letter reminding everyone about the Zoom PM meeting on June 3, 2020. The meeting is important because we need to vote to approve our “Revised” By- Laws. All of the AM members said they received the notification. We need a ma- jority of our members present on the Zoom meeting to cast their vote. Lion Leslye also mentioned that there would be other presentations to members.
