Visitor – None
Tail Twister – Lion Tail Twister Herb went around and collected happy dollars for the the Holiday party and Thanks to Lion Ray and Barbara for hosting the party.
Lion Charlie rolled a big 2 for his birthday roll and donated $2.00 to the club.
Crab Feed – Lion Al said we have $6,000 in cash and $4,000 committed. Lion Ray said we need to check with the Ready Room and Paul and Eddie’s Monta Vista Inn to see if they will donate like they have done in the past. Lion Steve talked to Lion Prez Jeff about sending out the donation list to the club so we can sign up to start calling on them. Lion Ray said that Lion Carl reserved the refrigeration truck. Lion Steve said he would talk with Saint Lawrence to make sure everything is still on schedule. Lion Al said he would send out an email to prior attendees to remind them that the crab feed is coming up soon. Lion Eli reminded everyone that we still have the BBQ barrel for the auction/raffle.
Wreaths Across America – Lion Eli reminded everyone that Wreaths Across America is this coming Saturday December 14, 2019 at 10 AM. and asked those members who plan on attending to wear their yellow gear to represent our club.
Via West Services – Lion Jeff had said at the PM meeting that he would contact someone at Via West to see if they wanted to send a speaker to our PM meeting on 1/8/2020.
Student Speaker Contest – Lion Dagi said she will send out reminders to the high schools and that she would contact the judges for the upcoming event. Lion Al said that he would take care of the insurance for the Odd Fellows Hall.
Crab Feed 2020 – Lion Carl said the food permits are in progress. There is a new contact at the Fish Market which Lion Carl has met and talked with about their support this year. Sign-up sheet for volunteers to follow soon. There will be two Leo clubs (Monta Vista and Lynbrook) to hopefully get volunteers from.
Good of the Order –
Lion Dagi presented a sympathy card and a beautiful orchid to Lion Bill for the passing of his wife Jane.
Lion Ray said we need to start thinking of a date for Charter Night. He will send out a couple of dates in March 2020 to pick from.
With Lion Andrea Harris moving to San Diego we will need a new Board member.
Lion Al said he had been contacted by the Santa Clara Registrar of Voters about volunteers for the upcoming election in March. The election this year is spread over 11 days starting on February 21, 2010.
