Food Drive 2018: debrief; Some Key Lessons for 2019
huge success
173 families fed
extra food went to sunnyvale/west valley community.(one pick-up truck each)
next year: vet out what WV and Sunn want
all feedback for food drive should be put on the sign up sheet (link here) in the 3rd tab (2018 feedback)
Also on the sign up sheet, keep track of expenses.

Crab Feed 2019 Co-Chair(s) needed; roles committed to by current co-chair (Lion Carl); next steps in duties, etc.
look for crab feed update document published by next PM meeting

Rise Against Hunger Project 2018, District 4C-6 wide Event; Lion Claire with some comments
“events” that create 10,000 meals sent to organizations in africa.
Clubs organize events, currently done on the district level.
Are we interested in participating in future events? ( last meeting we voted 6-1 to senr $250, but the event was canceled)
may get on the budget in 2019

R4D 2.1 Update? Some Insight from Some Sage Lions if needed.
Due to elections and personal matters, the ride is in need of at least 1 chair.

key time of year for permits and other things that are time sensitive we need to act soon.
The committee took out the following language from the website “100% of proceeds go towards diabetes”
Lion Andrea made a notion that “at least 50% of the net profit go towards Diabetes related causes.” this passed with no one opposed.

Holiday Party 2018:: Plan, Location, Program?
Blue bells will play
beer and wine provided
potluck food
“Holiday cocktail” will also be present!
There will be guests present.

need an “integration event” to help new members meet current members and each other. Lion Andrea will Facilitate.
