AM Meeting Minutes 6/1/2017
Lions Present: Lion’s Ray, Ron, Phil, John K., Don, Bill, Steve, Al, Mort, Eli, Don, Herb, John N., Walt, and Charlie.

- LCIF/ADA Ride4Diabetes on August 26, 2017 De Anza College
Tail Twister – Tail Twister Lion Herb went around and collected Happy Dollars for the Warriors. Lion John Noone gave a Happy dollar for his daughters wedding. Lion John K. Gave a Happy dollar for being back.
Via West – Lion Bill said the work party went well with the repair of some the benches and staining and painting of all of them.
Flag Day – Lion Mort said there will be 88 children that we will provide flags and brochures about the American flag. Lion Eli said our Lions group will barbecue hot dogs for the kids along with chips water and lemonade.
Golf – Lion Eli said him and Lion Steve will be testing out the TV presentation. A final decision will be made on the food. Lion Steve says we currently have $8,092 dollars in donations and that Lion Scott Harris will pick up the donated bagels. We need a volunteer to be the golf Marshall. Lion Eli said he has a couple of foursomes to come. The main thing now is we need “More Golfers” and Tee sign Sponsors so round up your groups and get them registered with Lion Jen Smith.
Ride4Diabetes – Lion Kent put together a slide show for a presentation to the Almaden Cycling club on June 7th which Lion John Noone and Lion Ray Lancon will present as Lion Kent will be out of town for the event. Lion John K. said Garret Farms would like to set up a booth at the Ride4Diabetes along with Aqui’s restaurant. Lion John K. said we also need to send out Thank you letters to all of the businesses that participate in the event. Lion John K. said he will check with Frontier Ford to see if they would provide SAG vehicles for the event.
Good of the Order –
Lion Ray said we need to bring up the subject of looking for a new venue for the Crab feed now that St. Williams church is no longer available.
Lion John N. said the new club website is almost done and hopefully completed by the end of June. Thanks to Lion Dagi and Lion John N. for all their hard work in this endeavor.
