– March 5th, 6:30 pm, Project Linus, Odd Fellows Hall, 20589 West Homestead Rd, Cup.

Tail Twister
– Tail Twister Lion Herb went around the room collecting happy dollars. Lions Kent and Ray were happy to donate because of their upcoming trip to SE Asia.
Crab Feed Review
– Expenses way out paced revenue this year.
– Cost of food from Fish Market was double that of last year.
– We may need to look for crab from a different provider.
– There will be a post mortem for Crab Feed. Afterwards we will need to talk to Fish Market about the big increase in cost.
Review Board Meeting
– Student Speaker Contest
- Winner is Grace Zhou, a freshman from Monta Vista High School.
- She will attend our next PM meeting on March 4th.
- Zone competition March 9th, 7 pm, Los Gatos Lodge.
– Charter Night
- Blue Pheasant Restaurant with dinner options and cost same as last year.
- Let Lion Steve know if you plan on attending.
- Need 4 Leos to watch over children.
– Project Linus
- March 5th at Odd Fellows Hall
- Lions Leslye and Claire in charge.
– Ear of the Lion
- Our club has agreed to help Margaret Taylor, a resident of Cupertino get hearing assistance.
- Financially she makes a little more than the current limit but we think the high cost of living here is such that she should qualify.
- Lion Pres Jeff will submit a cover letter to Ear of the Lion.
– Other Charity Updates
- We are looking to replace our Golf Tournament signs.
- Fairwaysponsors.com will make 18 tee signs and banner for $387.30
– Club Communications
- Conditions have improved thanks to the efforts of Lions John N and Dagi.
Good of the Order
– 2015 Golf Tournament
- Will be at Moffett Field on June 13th.
- Work party on June 11th.
- Lion Steve has printed up the new tournament forms and has begun looking for donations.
– Possible new project
- Lion Kent mentioned giving iPods and earphones/buds to Alzheimer’s/dementia patients in local nursing homes.
- Allow them to reconnect through music to otherwise inaccessible memory blocked by the disease.
- Might be able to get some assistance from Apple Computer Co.
– Paper Race Cars
- Lion Carl has built a race car track for his students. Cars are made of paper and have to carry an egg.
- Lion Steve helped build an electronic timer for the event.
– Congratulations to Lion Charlie who won the opportunity drawing.
