Board Meeting
7:30 pm, December 16, 2014
Knox Compound, 217 N Milton Ave, Campbell

Members present: Lion Pres Jeff, Lions Ray, Bill, Al, Walt and Bernie

Financial Review
– All accounts balanced through November 2014.
– Our club will no longer be responsible for Omar’s Dream Run. Lion Al is sending them a check in January for $18,159. He will continue to do consulting and we will provide sweat equity. There will be a meeting with them at 1 pm on Dec 22nd.

Crab Feed
– 7 first seating tickets remain.
– 40 second seating tickets have been paid for. Many more have been requested but not yet paid for.
– Lion Dagi has put our flier on the District 4C6 website.
– Lion Ray has signed contract with Saint William Church
– Crab Feed meeting on Dec 23rd.

Proposed Donation
– Lion Linda Sanders has proposed that our Club help in the purchase of 40 blankets for the homeless. Her church, the Union Church of Cupertino will be passing them out and she can get a discount on the blankets if purchased through the store she works at.
– Board authorized payment of $500 toward the cost of the blankets.

– Lion Al has registered Cupertino DeAnza Lions Club on this site.

Club Communication
– Lion Jeff will talk to Lion John N about adding archive, files, and photos to the members only section of our website.
Other Club Updates
– Charter Night: The Board is proposing we set a date in March. Lion Ray is checking with Blue Pheasant to see on what dates they can accommodate us.
– Food Drive: Lion Pres Jeff is sending letters to the Luckys stores thanking their customers for their generosity in making our Thanksgiving Food Drive successful.
