Happy Dollars from Tailtwister Carl.

  1.   Thanksgiving Food Drive 2017 – Lions Claire and Jen, 3rd store is going to be just for non-perishable items and not for the Oddfellows Hall. Jen met with Fimbys to get any advice on Oddfellow’s hall.  Spreadsheet will be passed around.  Still need volunteers for the two main stores.  The Leo volunteers usually help out at the stores, but Jeff will reach out to the president of the Leos.  Mary encourages everyone to volunteer at the store because it is easy to approach people, not scary at all. We need about 60 boxes and flyers for the stores. On the donation list, it would be helpful to have our website on the flyer.  We can tell them, but written down is better. Steve will add the address to the next 1,000 flyers he makes.  For Monday morning, the 20th, we need 10 SUVs or trucks for delivery. We need to replace Ron Ahearn on Saturday and Sunday, to work with ELi, for set up at store #2.
  2. Holiday Party is December 9th, at the Lancon house.  Lion John and Carmel Smith will be there and we will get to our board induction (finally!)
  3.      Crab Feed 2018 – Lion Steve, Any Lion:  49 donation requests (see date above).  272 per seating, 2 seatings.  We will give the church a layout and they will set it up. They also have a fast dishwasher.  Carl will be in charge of kitchen.  Al and Steve are co-chair.  The flyer will be on the website and was sent out by Steve to us by email.  The Thrown Together Jazz Band with a dance floor and high ceilings.  We will be closer to home at St. Lawrence in Santa Clara.
  4.      Summary Brief, October Board Meeting – we did not have a forum, electronic voting came afterwards for supporting website, new members, damage to Mike Martin’s car.  Three new members, we will be inducting new members into the club at the Holiday party. Randall Braun , Andrea Harris, Sharleen Vigil ,  and Joan Chin (also from Better Cupertino!).
  5. Questions about man who was hurt on the bike ride-broken arm was the major injury and just bruises other than that, as was reported by John Noone. Our guest, Vanessa, heard that the injuries were worse than that and was concerned.
  6. Good of the Pride, Any Lion:  Little League DirtBag Team, featuring Jak and Jon Ringer, are trying to raise money for a trip to Cooperstown.  They need extra fruit, so they will come and pick the fruit, and then they sell it as a fundraiser.  This will go on all year.  Let Mike Ringer know if you need help!  Trying to get to 14,000 thousand dollars.

Meeting Adjourned:  at 7:21.
