Eye Glass Outreach Program – Lion Prez Steve and his wife Ellen along with Lion Kathy stated that we will have one boy and one girl from the Campbell Middle School and one adult going to the Lens Crafters in Westgate that will be getting free eye exams and glasses with no vouchers being used. We also talked with the nurse at the Cupertino elementary school and informed her that a child with broken glasses could go to the Lens Crafters and get the glasses repaired for free.
Crab Feed – The DeAnza Lions club has received the contract from the church for the use of their facilities. There is an issue about parking and the 5:00 mass that needs to be worked out. We are looking into possibly using the schools parking lot for the first seating. We will ask the Leo’s to help us with the crab feed and directing traffic in the parking lot.
Good of the Order – Lion Ray Lancon asked that all Lions please provide him with their old Lions magazines when they are done reading them so they can be distributed to various lobbies to help promote Lionism.
There was a question about how Lion Eli was doing after his surgery. It was stated that he came through it well and everything was fine.
Opportunity Drawing – Congratulations, Lion Yvonne won.
