Recent Donations
Rebekah Children’s Services: Our club received a letter of thanks for our recent donation of $500. Lion Don said it was good we sent them the donation. They have had to cut back on the number of people and housing. RCS offers an array of care including a therapeutic residential program, wrap around services for families in the community, foster care, adoption, a non-public school servicing special needs students and a outpatient community mental health center. They serve more than 3,000 children and families.
USO Bay Area sent a letter thanking us of our $100 donation. The USO provides a home away from home for over 50,000 troops and their family members at their 3 centers in the Bay Area: San Francisco Airport, San Jose Airport, and Travis Air Force Base.

AJ Robinson MSU/Silicon Valley Fall Festival – The Silicon Valley Fall Festival at the Cupertino Memorial Park will be on Saturday, September 12th. Good of the Order
Special Needs Student – Lion Steve says we are working to see if we can help our a 15 year old high school student from San Jose who is in need of a special pair of eye glasses.
Special Thanks – Lion Al says special thanks should be given to Lion Steve and Ellen for their assistance in providing transportation to Maria. They have taken Maria to the Eye Clinic in San Francisco already twice this year. Maria will need another eye surgery. This time it will be for a drooping eyelid on her good eye.
Opportunity Drawing – Congratulations to our winner, Lion Steve. Thanks Lion Steve for donating your winnings to the club!
