PM Meeting Review –

Discussions were held concerning the viability of the crab feed and the options we had. The three options we discussed were continue with a seating, to-go orders only, or cancellation of the event all together. Covid and Covid restrictions are real concerns along with a lack of volunteers. Lion Steve said he talked with the church about us possibly cancelling the event. A survey will be sent out.
At the AM meeting discussions were held and it was decided that we did not want to dilute the product and if we could not present our full crab feed experience to our customers we should cancel it altogether. Another option presented was to postpone it for a month. Further discussions will be held. Lion Steve will send out an email concerning the Auction/Raffle prizes. The AM attendees consensus was to cancel the crab feed due to the unknown COVID mandates and restrictions that might cancel it at the last minute.

PM Meeting Review – (Unofficial)

Lion Carl talked about Lion Eli being inducted into the San Francisco University Football Hall Of Fame on Saturday December 4, 2021.

Food Drive -Unofficial numbers for the Food Drive. Currently we have $2,500 net surplus. We had two individuals donate one thousand dollars each to the food drive. Estimated figures show that the club donated approximately fourteen thousand dollars worth of food to 220 needy families in the Cupertino, San Jose, and Santa Clara areas and the farm workers in the Watsonville area. According to our estimate we fed approximately one thousand needy individuals. The club was blessed with all the individuals that donated food and cash to help those in need. Also we want to thank all of the volunteers, both Lions and friends of Lions that helped with the food drive it would not be a successful event without your hard work. Lion John and Lion Al will work on an article to send to Lions Clubs International about our successful project.

Crab Feed – It was proposed that we keep the price the same as we have had in the past. Due to the CDC Covid guidelines we are limiting the seating to 200 people at each seating.
