– Lion Kent gave presentation on possible new fund raising event.  Lion    Kent to get further information on event and present to the board.  Part of the decision is to pick a major Charity Sponsor to donate money to.

– A decision has to be made fairly soon on Crab Feed because payment will have to be made to Saint Williams Church.  Other alternatives are being looked at if we cannot have a crab feed because of the delayed crab fishing season.

Food Drive – Lion John said things are going well.  Lion Kent said Leo’s are ready except for one time slot and will see if he can get that taken care of.  Lion John said he needs copies of the Crab Feed flyer to pass out for interested people.  Pick up at Storage locker Friday at 10 AM.  Lion Claire has five friends that have volunteered to help in the food drive.  Thank you Lion Claire for the additional help it is greatly appreciated and be sure to thank your friends for us.

Christmas Party – Lion Al said things are going ok and Barbara Knox is taking care of the decorations along with other volunteers.  Set up for the party will start at 2:00 PM with the party starting at 5:30 ending at 9:00 PM.  There are approximately 45-50 attendees signed up at this time, be sure to let Lion Al know if you will be attending for the social camaraderie that we all enjoy.

Good of the Order – Lion Al read a Thank You letter from the “SAY” Social Advocates for Youth thanking us for our donation. Attached to this email is a copy of the Thank You letter.

There was an issue brought up at the District. Cabinet meeting about new members.  Currently the District is down 32 members so they are asking the various clubs to sign up new members.

Lion Al talked about a non-profit organization called “Honor Flight Bay Area.org” which currently provides free transportation to World War ll vets and as many other military vets as possible to see the respective war(s) memorials of the war(s) they fought in located in Washington D.C.

Congratulations Lion Don for winning the opportunity drawing.
