Additionally, the DeAnza Lions have donated for 2021-2022 $7,500.00 designating that each DeAnza Lion contributed $100.00 to LCIF. Supporting critical humanitarian needs in 208 countries around the world including the U.S. and sometimes even locally such as matching funds for our 4C6 District A.J. Robinson Health Screening Program. AM discussed the availability of tables and that attendees should make their reservations as soon as possible.
Food Drive – The QR code on the food drive flyer was tested and it worked. The check sent to the IOOF Hall was returned so Lion Ray will give it to Lion Don. It was discussed about what to do with any extra food we collect at the food drive, a couple of options were West Valley Community Services or the farmworkers. A signup sheet for volunteers for the food drive is available so please sign up. Lion Kent will check with the Monta Vista Leo’s club about volunteering.
AM meeting discussed the update of the food flyers we distribute and the Food Drive being put on the Monta Vista Leo’s calendar.

Camp Via West – It was noted that the club harvested 200 pounds of vegetables in September. Now that fall/winter is here the harvest slowed down and we only harvested 50 pounds of vegetables in October. The school students are being kept busy with cleaning pots and turning compost. We are still discussing alternatives for getting rid of the mole problem.

Good of the Order – None

Opportunity Drawing – Lion Barbara won. Congratulations and thank you for donating your winnings to the club.
