Tail Twister – Lion Tail Twister Herb collected happy dollars from Lion Steve for the Warriors and Sharks. Lion Don gave happy dollars for the 49ers draft.

Lion Ray presented Lion Kent with the Key Award for his effort at raising new members for the club.

P.M. Meeting Review –

Golf Tournament –

Claire and Jen are doing registration.
We’ll need 1-2 people to take photos.
We need two people for the payments table.
Need a licorice + mulligans sales person (2)
Raffle table (2 people).
3 silent auction tables.
1 table for audio.
Bottles of wine (20) to be the golf prizes, end-of-day.
Prize for the putting contest. (Proposal: bottle of wine).
Bagels to be donated by Noah’s. They typically close at 5:00. 
 Jenni will handle pickup arrangements.

What we have already:
Thurs night (pre event), we’re having a pre-work party to put together 
raffle tickets. We’ll need 8-10 volunteers.
Update from Al: 10 sponsors and 25 golfers confirmed, to-date. We 
definitely need more golfers.
Ratner to get the prize wine. (20 bottles, which will put custom 
labels on them (i.e.: first prize.. longest drive… etc.)
Ron is going the tee-signs. Charlie will be helping him.
Jeff will do a.m. and p.m. announcements.
Jen Smith to serve as scorekeeper to tally the Score cards and update the board.
Jen S. and Jill to do “On the Green Contest” contest
Student Speaker Contest, Regional – Helen Hu Cupertino De Anza Lions speaker from Lynbrook High School won the District level contest on April 20, 2019 at the American Legion Hall in Santa Clara. Helen wIll represent our club at the fourth round of the Student Speaker contest to be held on May 11th at the Tierra Linda Middle School, 750 Dartmouth Ave., San Carlos, Ca 94070 @ 2PM.

Ride 4 Diabetes – The Ride4Diabetes has been rescheduled for September 8, 2019 due to permit and insurance issues to be resolved.

Camp Via West – Lion Bill said Camp Via West work party has not been scheduled yet.

Cupertino Volunteer Day is scheduled for May 5, 2019. Lion Joan was wondering if it was too late to set up a booth ? She will look into it.

District Convention – Lion’s Steve and Al will participate in the Lions District Convention, May 16 – 19th to be held in San Ramon. Voting will be on Saturday May 18th.

Good of the Order –

Lion Ray gave the insurance certificate to Lion Joan to pass on to the R4D committee to show it to the City of Cupertino to see if it was acceptable.

Opportunity Drawing – Congratulations Lion Steve won.
